Mini’s Camping Night
16 July @ 1:00 pm - 17 July @ 11:00 am£10.00 – £15.00
We are delighted to be able to tell you that our amazing mini’s camping night is back.
16th July 2022. Bring your own tent. Pitch up from 1pm
Those of you who have attended before will know that it’s a really fun day and night. We camp at the rugby club and the children have freedom to run and roam while the parents catch up, relax and maybe have an alcoholic beverage!
Early bird tickets are available until the 1st of July at £10 per head (after the 1st it’s £15 per head) Children under 4 are free and prices are the same if you want to sleep over or just come along for the day. Any money left over will go towards kit for next year.
The price includes a BBQ for all (burgers/hotdogs), Smores and soft drinks for the children and of course hiring loo’s! The BBQ is available later in the evening if you want to cook any food you bring along. Please bring your own drinks and breakfast, I’m sure Uber Eats will be turning up quite a lot! It’s always a good idea to bring lots of snacks too.
During the day there will be games, stick hunting and other activities. Dinner will be sometime between 5 – 7pm with kids served first. After dinner children melt marshmallows and we are hoping for our U10’s resident DJ Nick will be on the decks. OR’s got talent is always a firm favourite, you’d be amazed how many children can armpit fart or burp their favourite song!
To be kind to local residents we have a noise curfew and children are settled in their tents (or in someone else’s watching a movie and eating sweets) by 10:00pm and the adults gather around the fire until they want to go to bed.
On Sunday morning the kids can run free from 7am (we do encourage them to stay away from the tents) and we start packing up around 11am and send the children on a litter pick.
This isn’t a quite weekend but it is full of fun and your child will be exhausted on the Sunday!
Rules for the day:
Dogs are welcome if they are kept on a lead and won’t bark through the night.
Children must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them, coaches will not be responsible for looking after others.
Children are not allowed to put anything on the fire at any time and must be supervised to melt marshmallows.
There will be an adult and buckets of water by the lit fire.
Tickets are non-refundable other than in the case of a lockdown. We will endeavour to continue through any weather but if it’s sudden monsoon season we will reschedule.
Book your tickets and we look forward to seeing you there (If you can volunteer to help that would be great too email Belinda2106@gmail.com )
